Lincolnshire Ballet Associates
Lincolnshire Ballet Associates is an exciting new associate programme, starting in January 2025 in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
Lincolnshire Ballet Associates has been created to offer high quality, holistic, pre-vocational ballet training to young, talented students in the region. Classes will be non-syllabus based; covering technique, artistry and conditioning. There will also be opportunities across the year to explore repertoire and choreography and work with guest teachers. The classes are structured to complement a student’s existing ballet classes with their regular teacher.
Michelle von Boisman has created the programme to nurture young, talented students in the region in pursuit of excellence in classical ballet. Using knowledge gained from studying the Royal Ballet School’s prestigious Diploma in Dance Teaching, Miss von Boisman has tailored a student centred programme that supports each dancer’s cognitive, psychomotor and affective learning. The programme will equip dancers with the tools to develop their technique, artistry and knowledge of classical ballet to a high standard, whilst studying alongside likeminded, talented students.
Miss von Boisman was inspired to develop this programme to increase opportunities for pre-vocational training for talented students in the region. Any child is welcome to apply and audition, but priority will be given to children who live in Lincolnshire and neighbouring counties.
Classes will be held at Elite Studios in Grantham town centre. The full address can be found at the bottom of this page.
